FIRST Tech Challenge Team 10477 RapidRobots, based in Novi, earned the 1st Place Inspire Award and qualified for the Michigan state championship at the FTC event in Midland on Sunday, November 23, 2025.

The Inspire Award is the top overall award in FTC. It recognizes not just robot performance, but also teamwork, outreach to the community, engineering documentation, and how well the students embody the values of FIRST.

RapidRobots is made up of students from Novi Middle School (Novi Community School District). The team designs, builds, and programs its own competition robot, and also volunteers at local STEM events and helps younger students learn about robotics.

A few quick highlights from the Midland event:

• 1st Place Inspire Award (top overall award)

• Finalist Alliance - Captain (Played finals but lost with 3 point margin)

• Qualified for the Michigan FTC State Championship on Dec 12th and 13th.
