We Need Your Voice.

We’re a group of students from Novi High School working on a project called Belong & Begin, and our mission is to create a space where all children—including those with disabilities—can play, learn, and grow together. Too often, kids with disabilities are separated from their peers during playtime, in classrooms, or in everyday activities. We believe it doesn’t have to be this way.

Every child deserves to feel like they belong. Right now, we’re in the early stages of planning this space, and we’re reaching out to families, teachers, and community members to understand what Novi truly needs. We want this to be a space built by the community, for the community. That’s why we’ve created a short survey to hear your thoughts, ideas, and experiences.

In addition to the space itself, we’re also working on a children’s book that promotes inclusion and empathy, launching a website, and setting up a Facebook page to share updates.
